At the top of the Raval you’ll find plenty of little stores and cozy cafés that serve fresh, delicious products. You’ll perhaps recall that we have already talked here about the Carolina Blues shop and the restaurants Doce Trece and Rita Lounge. Well, today we want to take you to the El Colectivo for breakfast!
The first thing we adored was the decoration. Beautiful wooden tables and a wall covered with pictures, posters and photos, as well as an exhibitor that makes your mouth water with its offer of delicious cakes and pies…
The ambience is relaxing, you feel so at ease, and the menu is so good that a simple breakfast may very well escalate into a full brunch!
Indeed, we weren’t able to resist a go at the butter croissants. The result? They were delicious! Not as good as a true French croissant, but worth a try all the same!
Special mention to the hot sandwiches. A true joy. All products are fresh, tasty… we could have eaten 10 of those!
If you’re in the surroundings, don’t miss the El Colectivo; and if you’re looking for a new breakfast HQ, don’t hesitate! Success guaranteed.
The café is located in a quiet street, a stone’s throw away from the famous Rambla. There you have a great place to take a well deserved rest from the crowd of the center!
