Today we’re going to party, or at least to taste a nice cocktail and eat something different than the eternal paella and pinchos.
If you’re on a holiday at the pretty city of Barcelona, you risk having eaten a bit too much of these, so let’s do this: Let’s go out and taste different flavors…
The Sofrito is a bar located in the Poble Sec district, really close to the famous Montjuic. It boasts a relaxed, friendly ambient and most of all, exceptionally good food and a great value for money!
The varied offer of dishes from Latin America is prepared with care. You’ll be able to find unusual flavors to satisfy the curious visitors, always looking for cuisine novelties.
The menu contains some vegetarian and vegan specialties too.
In this bar, you can eat on the go, or else have your meal at ease there, surrounded by its sifting, musical ambient.
You should know that they organize a concert every Thursday!
Our recommendation is the “guayabito” cocktail (a mix of Rum and guava juice), a really fruity and sweet cocktail, completely perfect to start the evening. Pair it with a “cachapa” if you enjoy eating, it’s a hearty serving of meat or cheese wrapped in a delicious cornmeal crust. To begin or end your meal, enjoy some “yoyos” or “tequeños”!
So, what about it? Will you surrender to temptation?!
You will find all the information and upcoming events (concerts, DJ…) in the Facebook page of Sofrito.
