No problem at all! In this article, you will find 5 ideas of activities and visits to do with your children, no matter their age!

You see, we haven’t lied to you! It’s impossible to be bored at the Ciutadella Park!
2 The Zoo
The Zoo is located inside the Ciutadella Park. It’s quite vast and you will easily spend the whole day visiting it. There, you will find lots of animals housed in delightful backgrounds. Several times a day, you’ll have the chance to attend a dolphin show (in Spanish and Catalan).
3 The d’Horta Labyrinth
This park is located outside the town centre, but it’s certainly worth checking! You guessed it right, as its name suggests, we’re talking about an actual labyrinth here. To get lost inside an open-air labyrinth sure is a fun activity for children and adults alike! You’ll also be able to enjoy the beautiful park and its surroundings. It’s open every day from April, 1st to October, 31st from 10:00h to 20:00h, and from November, 1st to March, 31st from 10:00h to 19:00h.

4 The Cosmo Caixa Museum
This museum is located outside the town centre. You’ll have to take the subway or the bus to get there. It’s a delightful activity to enjoy during around half a day. This museum is mainly for the children. There, you will find a reenactment of the Amazon rainforest, enjoy several hands – on experiences, watch and learn about the evolution of life on Earth.
You’ll find all the information here.
5 The Aquarium of Barcelona
The aquarium, right next to the sea, is located close to the Maremagnum mall (perfect if you feel like doing a little shopping before or after the visit). Please know that it’s very popular, but it’s certainly worth the trip! Unfortunately, the ticket fare is a little expensive – but it will graciously save a rainy afternoon! It has no less than 35 tanks, home of over 11.000 animals of 450 species. There’s a space dedicated to children where they’ll be able to see a reenactment of the marshes, a cave and part of the Costa Brava. In a playful, fun way, all the family will be able to discover and learn about the functioning of the ecosystem. Shivers are guaranteed in the sharks’ underwater tank. If you wish, you can even make arrangements to celebrate the birthday party of the child at the aquarium!
